The Elite is extended three feet in the back from our base pole vault model, sized for high school competition. The three extra feet behind the box makes the pit safer for vaulters who find themselves over-penetrating. With three interchangeable and reversible sections in the back, wear can be minimized by rotating and exchanging sections, keeping soft spots to a minimum and maximizing the life of the pit.
